Editing Collaboration

Email composition is often a collaborative process. The Drag & Drop Editor allows you to collaborate using comments, and to export your emails into HTML for editing by HTML specialists.

Commenting

You can leave comments on many elements of the email in the editor. To leave a comment:

• Step 1: Click on the part you want to comment on and click the speech bubble button.
• Step 2: Type your comment and click Submit.

You can mark a group of comments as resolved by clicking the Resolve button while looking at the comments. You can also reopen comments marked as resolved.

To see all comments in a document, click on a comment and then click the All Comments button. Here, you can choose to show solved comments or comments on deleted blocks.

Exporting Emails

You can download an HTML version of your email using the Download .zip file button. This is useful if you need to make more changes to the email using HTML.

However, since the HTML you edit may not be compatible with the Drag & Drop Editor, you’ll have to make further edits using the Braze HTML editing experience. Once you're happy with the HTML, you can upload it again by creating your campaign or Canvas message using the HTML editor and choosing to Upload from File.
