Create Reusable Content Blocks

Content Blocks

A Content Block is a single, reusable email row that you can use in your emails within the Drag & Drop Editor.

Content Blocks are especially useful for headers, footers, and other content you commonly use across emails.

Insert a Content Block

After you've created a Content Block, you can add it into to your emails. Watch this short video or follow the instructions below for a quick walkthrough of this process.

Update a Content Block

When you change and save an existing Content Block, it may not update everywhere it is used. The way a Content Block updates depends on how you inserted it into your emails.

If you used the Row tool to add Content Blocks to your email, they won't change when you update the Content Block. You'll need to manually update the Content Block in each email.

If your emails use Liquid to import Content Blocks, they will use the most up-to-date version of the Content Block. Braze recommends that you use the Liquid tag method if you ever plan to update your Content Blocks and want these changes to appear in all emails using that block.
