Take Home Assignment
In order for the Braze team to assess your presentation skills, we ask that you submit a 10-minute recording of yourself, walking a “real life” customer through your assignment.
The presentation prompt and assignment materials will be sent to you by a Braze team member.
The overall outline of the presentation will look similar to the below.
For Onboarding Consultants
Part One
The first part of the presentation will focus on how you’ll set the stage for the onboarding. You’re introducing yourself as the project manager resource and want to make sure your customer understands what to expect from you over the next several weeks.
Part Two
The second part of the presentation will focus on the email channel setup. You want your customers to understand the steps necessary to make the email channel available to them in the Braze dashboard.
For IP Warming Consultants
Part One
The first part of the presentation will focus on setting the stage for the engagement. You should kick off the session by reviewing where things stand with their IP Warming and what you’ll walk them through today.
Part Two
Break down what's happening and why — explain the deliverability issues in plain terms, walk through the root cause, and share your concrete recommendation for what the customer should do in the next 24–48 hours.
Part Three
Address the path forward — give an honest assessment of the launch timeline, walk through the trade-offs, and outline how you'll monitor and adjust from here.
For Technical Architects
Part One
The first part of your presentation will focus on showing the customer how Braze fits into their existing tech ecosystem, including a brief overview of the vertically integrated stack.
Part Two
The second part of your presentation will be a brief explanation of the types of data in Braze and how to be efficient with data usage in Braze.
Part Three
The final part of your presentation will focus on setting external IDs and describing how user profiles are managed in Braze.
Directions
Prepare and then record your presentation (up to 10 minutes) to demonstrate how this project would be managed and coordinated. The goal of the exercise is to see how you would initiate and drive a Partner-Led Delivery engagement, take into account their business requirements, and adjust the plan to cater to their needs.
We're looking for you to showcase your Braze knowledge as well as your ability to deliver an effective customer-facing session. Be sure to tailor the deck to meet the customer's needs and avoid simply reading from a script.
Once you have your recorded presentation, upload it in the next lesson for the Braze team to review.
